You can adjust the lever reach by simply turning an adjuster from anywhere form -3 to +3 reach, allowing you to dial in exactly where you want your lever to be positioned. 

This lever also comes with on the fly click adjustments for cable tension, making it very easy to adjust your free play on the fly. 

All of the crucial bearings and pivots are covered to prevent debris from causing any wear.
